Piano Studio
I am currently a traveling teacher and provide in-home weekly lessons in Alameda.
I teach all levels of piano, ages 5 through Adult.
My goal as an instructor is to enable students to become fluent and versatile pianists who develop a lifelong love for music.
Welcome to my Studio!
In-person lessons take place from the convenience of your home – I travel to you. Online lessons are also an option for those who prefer. Instruction is tailored to each student’s background, skills, and interests.
I aim to present material using a fun and balanced approach. Students are instructed in the elements of musicality, including technique, sight reading, rhythm, ear training, theory, performance, and improvisation. Students may also choose to make their own compositions.
Recitals are typically held twice a year to motivate students and develop performance skills. There is typically a home recital in winter and a studio recital in spring.
